Deprecated functions in this plugin

  • I am getting deprecated functions flagged which I have narrowed down as being located within this plugin – they occur only when I update slider settings via genesis-> slider settings as follows:

    “Function: screen_icon()” is locked
    Function: screen_icon()
    Used in wp-includes/functions.php on line 3826.

    No alternative available.
    Deprecated in version 3.8.0.

    “Function: get_screen_icon()” is locked
    Function: get_screen_icon()

    The settings page also triggers a debug issue

    The actual plugin still works fine though. I am running updated versions of wordpress, genesis and all plugins.

    Can this plugin be updated to resolve the above?

    Hi,

    As the warning states, the plugin is using a deprecated function within WordPress itself, but there is not alternative available.

    When WordPress provides an updated function to include then we can update the plugin.
