• Hi Gutenburg Team,

I’m worried about creating tables for clients to use. I have created a table without Gutenburg that uses inline-css. When I edit that page with Gutenburg active, this table gets converted to a classic editor even though I am using the same table class as Gutenburg uses to try and make it compatible (<table class=”wp-block-table” …).

When I click the convert to block option in Gutenburg, it then removes all of the in-line styling that I have done but keeps the data.

How can I make an in-line table that is compatible with Gutenburg? Is this possible, or will my table be stuck in the classic block until one day the classic block is retired?

Hi, have you tried using the custom HTML or classic block for this? Just as that may work to keep your custom CSS.
