• Hello everyone,

Woke up today to discover my home page, and a few other pages on our website, are not working correctly. Anywhere I am using a responsive column widget, upon page load, I am greeted with the following error:

Responsive Column Widget: A dependency conflict occurred. Please reselect a child widget in the Widgets page of the administration area.

All other plugins are working just fine and I made sure my responsive column widget pro and regular are up to date. I discovered a “fix” that stated I had to go in and reselect all my widgets and hit save to make the error go away, but that has not had any success. Note that that error appears on IE, firefox, chrome, and safari. We went through our logs and none of the users that have access for big changes like this touched the affected pages. We have a band-aid fix applied by using a “draft” version of our homepage up while we sort out the live home page issues, but the owners will not accept that for too long.

    does anyone have any suggestions?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

I suspect some widgets in your sidebars have changed. That error occurs when there is a nested widget box that has a circular reference like a Widget Box A that contains Widget Box B containing Widget Box A.

Please check if you have a widget of Responsive Column Widget Box (which allows you to select a sidebar or widget box) in the widget setting page (via Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets). If you have one, check if the selected sidebar contains another sidebar or widget box. The selected sidebar or widget box must not contain any of parent sidebar or widget box.
