Translation options – Privacy Tools page

    Hi – first off congrats on an excellent plugin…hats off to you and your team for making it available to the community! ??

    My site is in development and thus publicly n/a so I have not provided at link, but i’ve completed the plugin guide. After activating the Privacy tools page I see it’s in English – but the target audience of my site is not English speakers so I need to rectify that.

    However, as the page content is shortcoded it cannot be translated.

    Can you please provide some means of safely translating the output?

    Okay, so apparently WP has a new set of online translation tools which I’m not familiar with. I need to look into this further.

    Thanks for this great plugin and all the work that goes with !

    I have made a French translation with last PoEdit pro Version 2.0.6 (5225) and copy the gdpr-framework-fr.mo and the gdpr-framework-fr.po files under ../wp-content/plugins/gdpr-framework/languages/

    I will be pleased to share this files !

    But really don’t understand why the language is still in English when using [gdpr_privacy_tools] shortcake.

    Of course, my default language site is in French and my user profile too.

    Sorry for this dummy question, I used to word with WPML.

    j’ai le même problème que toi concernant la traduction qui ne s’affiche pas sur le site, alors que le fichier .po est ok… mon site est bien réglé sur le FR…
    quelle issue (si tu as eu) a été efficace ? merci pour ton retour !

    j’étais “loin du clavier” en fin de semaine…

    Pour ma part, il s’agissait d’un pb avec le fichier .po réalisé à l’aide de POEdit et que j’avais uploadé.
    Je ne sais pas si le pb vient du programme POEdit mais il m’a suffi d’installer le plugin “Loco Translate” qui traite les fichiers .po coté hébergement. j’ai fait les corrections de traductions, sauvegardé et tout à fonctionné.
    Après cela, on peut dés installer Loco translate.
