    Hello.

I’m getting this error after the update:

Notice: Undefined index: use_fontawesome in /home/wordsin0/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-google-maps/wpGoogleMaps.php on line 8398

I had to deactivate the plugin because this errore was showing up on every page on the website in the header.

Any idea on how to solve this?

    Thank you

  • I’m getting the same error, have been for a couple days. Deactivated and reactivated, cleared site and browser cache, no luck.

I submitted a ticket on the pro support forum as ell. I’ll let you know if they get back to me.

    Thank you very much!

    Really appreciate.

Go to WP Google Map plugin Settings, just uncheck Use awesome font, save, clear cache.

    Hi aleksey.

Unfortunately this doesn’t work (for me).

When I set the option to “None” and save, it gets back to “5.*”

    Hi all,

Thank you all for your time and patience on this issue.

We are aware of this issue, and we are preparing a patch which will be released later today.

This issue appears to only be present in some instances, and this allowed it to slip through our pre-release tests. We do apologize for any inconvenience caused thus far.

As mentioned, the next update will resolve this issue permanently, however if any of you do require a temporary work around in the meantime, you can edit the wpGoogleMaps.php file at line 8398, and add a @ symbol before the $ symbol on that line.

This would remove the error notice for the time being.

I hope this helps? Should any of you require assistance with making these changes please do get in touch and one of our developers will gladly assist.
