    For some reason, articles will say they published in the plugin but when I log into my Apple News account they don’t appear on my channel. They don’t show up in the sections. There is no error message for these articles in the plugin, they say they published and show a live status on the articles page in the plugin section of my website. I also rechecked the sections to make sure they have the categories properly assigned and they do. Any help out there from anyone?

  • Im also having the same problem but I have not heard back from the plugin developer or from anyone on how to solve this issue.

    We’ve been working with a few users that are reporting this issue. If the plugin is reporting that the article is published (LIVE) then it is published to your channel. That status is coming directly from the Apple News API. When I tested the other users’ channels, I was able to see all of the content, even though they weren’t on their app. One user had luck uninstalling and reinstalling the Apple News app on their device. It seems like, at least in that case, that the article visibility is being controlled by the user profile on the iOS device, and that it is not inherently a problem with the channel itself, or with this plugin. When I know more, I’ll post back here, but in the meantime I would recommend testing on a different iOS device or on a simulator with factory settings to eliminate your profile/preferences as a variable.
