• The sidebar does not work. its not compatible with widgets and the layout is messed up. if you can fix this, this would be an A+ wordpress theme.

  • I just downloaded it and tested it from here.

I placed 8 widgets in the sidebars. 4 in sidebar “1” and 4 in sidebar “2”.
It worked fine for me, It also appears to be page-navi ready. The only thing I did notice is that it is not display friendly to page “children”, and the sidebar bullets were slightly misaligned in Firefox with the recent posts and meta widgets in the upper sidebar. I couldn’t duplicate your widgets issue.

I’ve commented on this here (worldblogger, you can grab the code):

Given the broken sidebar code in the download, I’m not sure how it’s working for you ClaytonJames.

The author uses non-standard code in the sidebar to get the separate-widget look (the gray background of each built-in widget), and after being fixed, each (sub) sidebar will have its own gray background.

I moved my (sub) sidebar 1 to the top of the sidebar so that I could put a text widget at the top (https://www.MarkKurowski.com).

    Cheers,

It worked for me right out of the box. (except for what I mentioned) Perhaps I received an updated download package.

    Glad you got it working!

Please see my blog for an update of the code to support widgets as it should.

Lovely theme! Orange is my favorite colour, but I’ve changed it to magenta on my blog. I tried working on the sidebar myself but was slowly being driven insane by my lack of WordPress knowledge, so I have decided to live with it for now. ??

    Thanks for creating it!
