I have a LS server with the caching enabled. However, when I check the settings on WP the LS plugin still says,

    LSCache Module is disabled.

What can I do? The documentation is very unclear and doesn’t help here for me.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    A report number please ?

    Best regards,

    Hello,

You can generate and send report number from WordPress admin area – Litespeed cache – Report. Post just the number here.

    Hi,

it seems your server is running on Apache , where LS cache requires LiteSpeed WebServer, this is why you have that message.

the optimization features should work with all sort of webserver , but the caching requires litespeed server, so if you are on VPS , you can either install OpenLiteSpeed or LiteSpeed, and if you are on shared hosting , you would need to get a provider with litespeed webserver.

Our server providers installed LiteSpeed (after I bought the licence) and when I check WHM it shows it’s installed and running. We also set up the caching via WHM.

Via WHM it says: iteSpeed is running (…). Apache is running (…).

Under that it also says Switch between Apache and LiteSpeed and gives both options.

Do you think LS been set up properly on my server or have they missed a step?

    Hi,

LiteSpeed can run parallel with apache on different port ,
so I assume you have access to WHM , then go to litespeed plugin page

set port offset to 0 , switch to litespeed

Excellent – thanks for the help! It appears to be working now. I’m guessing that for the time being I can leave the cache plugin settings (and the LS settings on the server) to the defaults?

    Hi,

Glad to know it works fine now.

Yes , default would be fine , but if you wanna archive maximum performance then you would need to tweak it a little bit.

the setting are quite easy and simple , you can try them out ??

Thanks – I think I’ll learn a bit more about it before I start playing ??

But I can see already via Pingdom that pages are loading TWICE as fast which is awesome!
