    Hello.

This has worked previously and I’ve not tweaked any settings so not sure if this is a change with Woocommerce or yourselves however, the best way to see what the problem is is by visiting the URL as given (a working, live example).

Basically, I have conditional logic for my products that have different size options (and these are the only ones that are having validation problems).

So if a heart is a small size, customers can add X amount of characters to it for personalisation. Despite everything being ticked as ‘required’ including the “Enable ajax based validation” which you can see on the website, it’s allowing the field to be left blank now and allowing customers to order without filling this part in.

    Help please, what’s gone wrong?

  • Hi Gem,

first of all, I see you have very old version installed of our plugin. Please upgrade to latest and it will solve this issue.

Do you not add the latest versions to the WordPress repository then? All my plugins are updated immediately as soon as they become available.

** UPDATED – I’ve just checked my version which does not marry up with the one here. However, when I click ‘check for update’ in the plugin page of my WP admin, it tells me the plugin is up to date.

So how do I receive notification when there’s an update for your plugin? (I’ve paid for this too!)

Finally found the client portal to download the latest version and now none of the validations work across my entire website and despite showing the error message for required fields, items can still be added to the cart without entering the required information :/

    ** Another Update **

Even if there is a character limit, say 10 letters max, customers can still enter as many letters as they like.

All these things used to work and your plugin was perfect :/

    Hi,

we have checked character limit and validation, it’s just fine. I thin your field data-name is not properly set it must be:

        All lower case
        No spaces and special character
Must be unique in one meta group
