  • Hey Lindsay,

We’re indeed working on making our plugin GDPR compliance, as you can follow along the process here: https://github.com/Codeinwp/pirate-forms/issues/295

    Let us know your thoughts.

I have a number of websites using your plugin so that’s fantastic news. Process looks great, certainly being able to link to a Privacy Policy would be useful.

    Hi Lindsay,

In the latest update, just released, we give the option to add a checkbox field, to be able to ask for explicit consent if you are storing the form entries in the database.
We are also working on a document explaining all of this in much more details.

    Regards,
    Rodica

Suggestions 1 – In the Pirate Forms plugin, the checkbox field allows multiple lines of text. However, in some themes (Hestia https://themeisle.com/themes/hestia/) all lines are in one line. Because of that they are illegible and GDPR requires readability. Please, fix it.

Suggestions 2 – The window for entering the contents of the checkbox could enable pasting the shortcode for popups…

I’m sorry if not for the topic…

Hi, the checkbox isn’t displayed properly on my page. The checkbox and the words next to it are not displayed in the same line. Screenshot: https://postimg.cc/image/85l7l51xz/

    Hi, are there any updates?

We have a same problem. The checkbox isn′t display in the same line.

My text checkbox for the topic Hestia looks like this https://snag.gy/aidqCo.jpg to correct this I need to use headers H1-5 https://snag.gy/J4UNq1.jpg
I can not use any schortcode in the input field for the checkbox just a simple text or link … I suggest using this option. You can then make an interesting modal window using shortcodes instead of using a new plugin …
