First of all, thanks so much for continuing the work on this plugin. It’s just exactly what I need on my page. Everything worked perfectly before the update, except for the Ajax functionality.

But now, after updating, it doesn’t really work anymore. The text “This content is password protectet…” just doesn’t show up anymore.
But what’s even worse is that I can’t enter a password anymore. The field appears on my site, so does the submit button, but I can’t click in the filed or type anything.

Could you please provide some help with his problem?

Also, it would be amazing if you could bring the in-site loading back. It’s nothing big, but it might set users off to find themselves back at the top of the page after entering a password.

    Thanks so much!

  • Hey @denkoe,

you are right, the ajax-functionality is a big problem in compatibility. So the actual version has removed this to provide a stable solution for the majority of users.

    So check the following:

    1) remove the “ajax” option in the shortcode
    2) Set an identifier for every shortcode

Im actually experimenting with a solution with an auto-scroll after page reload, which not requires ajax. So the users don’t have to scroll the whole page, but shortcodes are also compatible with the majority of form plugins (ContactForm7, Gravity Forms..)

I can’t promise a specific release day but a solution for this is on my roadmap.

Hey, thanks for your quick reply.
I’m using the Passter 3.0 version. As far as I can see, there is no Ajax option available. So there is no ajax in the shortcode. And the identifier is already set.

Just to make this clear, the problem still exists, even with deactivating other plugins.

    Hey @denkoe,

did you try to use the new Quick-Tag-Icon to add a shortcode?
Possible a better way to help you could be a copy of your website (ex. with duplicator) uploaded to wetransfer.com and send via mail to [email protected]

I’m sure we can find a solution working for you.

I did use the quick-tag-icon to add the shortcode.
Sorry, I’m kinda new to this, I don’t know how to send a copy of the website.
