    Hi,

    There may be a conflict with your them or another plugin which breaks the rewrite rules. I suggest that activate the pretty permalinks back. Then switch to Twenty Seventeen and deactivate all your plugins except Polylang. Check if it works as expected then activate your theme and the other plugins until you reproduce your issue.

    seems the entry . in category base caused the problem. with plugin remove categor base everything fine now.
