When I go to Wordfence > Dashboard, sometimes I can click on both Manage Firewall and Manage Scan, sometimes I can only click on one or the other.

Then if I click on Manage Firewall then click on the little gray arrow on the right of Advanced Firewall Options, it acts like it moves a tiny bit but the menu does not open. If a menu option is already open (has a downward pointing blue arrow on the right, clicking that arrow does nothing. Selections in areas already open seem selectable and working.

I have tried this in Chrome and Firefox with identical results.

  • Hi @flea777,

This could be caused by a conflict either with the theme or one of the plugins you’re using.

Can you see any errors in the browser console when you try to perform the problematic operation?

Could you try temporarily switching to a default theme –if you’re not already using one– and disabling all other plugins then reactivating them one by one to see if the issue persists?

To do so I recommend the “Health Check” plugin which allows you to disable all plugins and switch to a default theme, but only for your user.

Funny thing, every test I did, nothing changed. Then one day, it started working fine. No idea.

    Hi @flea777,

    Thanks for the update.

In case the problem occurs again, the browser console could maybe provide helpful information.

Another explanation could be that a plugin involved in the behavior you described was updated and that the conflicting code was modified.
