    Hi folks…

My website is currently in maintenance mode as it is being completely redone (theme change from Divi to OceanWP).

So…the link I’ve used is for a screenshot of one of my blog posts as it shows the issue I am having. I will include the link in the body of this ticket also.

Basically, if the images are aligned to the right or left, they sit outside of the text “body” and are actually pushed up against the edge of the screen!

Text doesn’t appear to “wrap” around the image either but this may simply be because the image sits so far outside of the “body” of the text.

    OceanWP v1.5.13
    Wordpress v4.9.5

I have tried various settings in the “customise” area of the Dashboard to no avail. I have also tried adjusting the “blog” layout setting within the post using the Ocean Extra functions.

The only thing that got the post images to move away from the edge of the screen was changing to a “boxed” layout but that affects my homepage (among others) which are “full width”.

I hope somebody can assist me with this?

    Regards

    Jeremy

Hello, go to the Blog > Single Post section of the customizer, add 0 in the Full Width Content setting, tell me if it solves the issues.

    Awesome…it worked!

That was driving me bonkers…so thank you very much!

But…I think it (the blog post) would look better if there was even more space to the left and right of the text “body”.

    I.e. a narrower text body.

Is this possible, while keeping the page/post responsive for tablet and mobile?

Or…a “boxed layout” setting that ONLY is employed on single blog posts?

    Thanks

    You’re welcome ??
What you can do to control your single post is to use Elementor, so you will be able to set a custom width.
