Do you have any plans for updating the plugin to be Google for Jobs compliant? I see this question was asked 10 months ago but it doesn’t look like anything has changed with the job posting form, which is clearly not compliant with Google for Jobs. There also doesn’t seem to be any way to add the necessary fields on the front end.

Hi! I’m not sure what thread you’re talking about, but have a look here:

    https://wpjobmanager.com/document/fixing-structured-data-issues/

Specifically, you can add the Salary field by following the instructions there. If you need help with any other aspect, let me know!

Ok, I read the instructions in the article for adding LOCATION (street address) and then the article for adding SALARY. The steps to accomplish these tasks are far above my comfort level as I am a business owner, not a coder. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t add these (and the other missing fields) to the plugin as an update for everyone’s sake. That is what you do, right? I’m not trying to be difficult but,I can’t be the only user of this plug-in who wants to see the Google for Jobs compliance features added by your team. Seems like it would be easy for your team since you already know how to do it.
I was looking at another plugin yesterday – WPJobBoard.net – that already has these features built in.

Sorry Richard – I thought you were part of the team that developed the plug-in but I see that you are not. My comments were directed to the plugins developers, which is Automattic I believe

Hi! I work for Automattic and I provide support for the plugin, but you’re right, I’m not the developer. ??

Note that we do have the salary field as an open enhancement request and scheduled to be included in the next update hopefully, but there’s been a lot of time and effort put in to make the plugin responsive to the needs of the GDPR before the May 25 deadline, so this enhancement hasn’t been worked on yet. It’s coming, though!

    Howdy!

I’m marking this thread as Resolved, since it’s been more than a month since the last reply. If you still need help, definitely let us know here, and mark the thread Unresolved.

    Cheers.
