I have the core plugin plus the json plugin. I’m using GD rating plugin to have star ratings. I was using KK ratings before and same results as GD … (I don’t use comments for product pages and your rating plugin is super small and by comments.) I just want my visitors to be able to vote by clicking on stars. So, when I go to the structured tool to check .. there is no ‘AggregateRating’ type for ‘product’. how do I get that to read the rating? Is this WPSSO not compatible with any other rating plugin?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Where does that plugin store the average rating value and the rating count value?

WPSSO Core Pro includes an integration module for WooCommerce ratings and Yotpo for WooCommerce ratings. A WPSSO RAR add-on is also available and provides rating values to WPSSO Core (Free or Pro).

I use marketpress, not woocommerce and the ratings values from the WPSSO add on is very small and in the comments. I don’t use comments on my product pages. I want the ratings to be bigger next to the product like GD Rating has it now. I have it installed now on this page – https://www.scentswarmers.com/buy/scentsy/zen-rock-2 , you can see it’s in the product meta section.

I appreciate your response, but you did not answer my question.

Where does that plugin store the average rating value and the rating count value? Using the ‘rating’ key in comment meta, for example, is quite common.

Does MarketPress offer ratings like WooCommerce? I’m not sure why you mentioned that – is that significant?

I mentioned it because you mentioned that you integrated with woocommerce ratings and I was stating that I don’t use woocommerce, I use marketpress with a 3rd party app for ratings. I don’t use comments on my product pages, the ratings appear to be in product description area or product overview.

The location of something on a webpage does not give any indication of where that data is located in the database.

The Free version of WPSSO JSON does not include support for 3rd party plugins, nor does it include support for the aggregateRating property, so no matter what, a custom filter would be required to provide WPSSO JSON the rating values.

The WPSSO JSON Pro add-on includes support for the aggregateRating property, along with a specific aggregateRating filter to provide custom values if/when required. For example: https://wpsso.com/docs/plugins/wpsso-schema-json-ld/notes/developer/filters/examples/modify-the-aggregaterating-property/

If would be up to you or a developer to use one of the many WPSSO filters available to provide WPSSO with the rating values from “GD Rating”.

I have the pro version and I’m doing this on my own, so I guess I’m left to figure out how to make it work and what to do with the filters.
