Register with existing or already taken username sending to error 500.

    Hi, I am facing this issue when i try to register with existing or already taken username. I am redirecting to to error 500.

    also if this possible can i remove username field i want only Email unique & Required.

    Hi Muddasir,

    Apologies for the issue. To fix it, please download the file here https://www.dropbox.com/s/elqtxj12gffbgk6/class-wpum-form-register.php.zip?dl=0 unzip it, and replace the existing one into the plugin’s folder in wp-content/plugins/wp-user-manager/includes/forms/

    This will fix the issue. Version 2.0 of the plugin will be released within the next few weeks which will fix this issue too.

    Regarding disabling the username this isn’t possible within the current version of the plugin but it’ll be possible in version 2.0 ( I’ve already built it ), so look out for v2.0 and then you’ll be able to do it.
