Formatting header of sentio theme

Hello – I wanted to find out if I am able to customize the header in Sentio basic (free version) using code or something. Currently the site title and tagline appear at the very left hand corner top of all the pages (which is fine) AND the same text appears over the banner photo on the home page. I want to have different text over the banner image on the home page than what is showing up in the upper left hand corner. Is that possible in basic somehow or do I have to buy Pro? And does anyone know for sure that feature is in the pro version? I am posting here cause DesignHooks seems to be totally unavailable. Thanks.
