    Hello.

It seems the only way to get a social wall is using some shortcode, but, as long as I could get, they are interpreted and rendered only if they are put in page content or in a text widget, otherwise the raw shortcode is displayed.

Now I meant to show the social wall on the home page, where text widgets can be placed just on a side column and in the footer, though the wall I have in mind should go in the main content region!

    How can I do?

    Thanks in advance!

    Andrea

Thanks for contacting us. If understand you correctly you are wanting to show a feed on the main part of your home page? You should be able to edit your home page and add the shortcode there. While logged into your wordpress and viewing the home page on the front end you should be able to look at the top wordpress menu bar and see either an edit home page or edit page button. I would consult the theme developer if you are still running into troubles trying to edit the home page.

You gave me a good prompt, Spencer. Following that track I got with a sort of visual editor I’m not familiar with (I didn’t personally choose the theme and its tools), that way I could add a WYSIWYG input box in the main content column, similar to input text seen for pages, there in “text mode” I added the shortcodes in the tailored HTML code and they could actually be interpreted.

    Many thanks!!!
