how to change main directory

  • installation worked!
    so did the import from MT!
    not i have the thing running in domain.com/blog/cgi-bin/wp
    but i want the index.php file to be placed in the main blog folder.
    ie. domain.com/blog
    is this possible?
    ps. i tried changing the ‘uri’ field, and then copied over the index and other files, but this doesnt seem to work..

  • Why did you install it in the cgi-bin?

    Don’t install it in the CGI-BIN, it won’t work because a browser won’t be able to access its components directly. Also if you use ‘fancy URL’s’, it will give a 404.
