Issue after changing theme

I recently changed to a new theme and the WPUF post submission form starts to have problem.

The new theme has a page title box that are located at the top of each post/page. The featured image is supposed to appear in that page title box as in this screenshot.

When I submit a post via WPUF form from frontend, its fearured image won’t automatically show up in that page title box. But if i go to that post’s post editor at backend, just click on Update without making any changes to the post, the featured image will then appear in the page title box at frontend.

The theme author siad I should seek help from the plugin author, so here I am.

So is there a way I can make the featured image automatically appear in the page title box without having to manually update it from backend?
