Order not syncing

    Hey,

    First off, I absolutely don’t get 80% of the negative reviews on this plugin. If this breaks your site in anyway it just means you’re using a shitty theme (excuse my language) or you’re using (old) bad coded plugins. Kudos to the MailChimp team for maintaining this plugin and making sure we have a 360 view on our eCommerce.

    Anyhoo, I just noticed when I get new orders that they are not immediately syncing the eCommerce data. Is there a delay? The order was completed 12 hours ago from the time I discovered the issue. However, the plugin did sync the email, first and last name.

    I’ll try to include as much information as I can:

    I have debug logs turned on, but there’s only a log available from the time last time I synced (Last Updated time below). I’ve waited to resync because I wanted to reach out first to see if there might be an issue.

    One more thing, on the homepage in the MailChimp webapp I see E-Commerce performance in Dollars whilst my store is setup for Euro’s (in Woo as well as in the MailChimp for Woo plugin).

    However, on my iPhone it’s displaying the E-Commerce performance in Euro’s.

    Am I missing something? I’ve gone through every setting in the webapp, but I couldn’t find a setting for Currency.

    I noticed there was still an open issue in the Github issue tracker regarding virtual/downloadable products. Hopefully there will be an update for this soon, as it makes it practically unusable for digital products.

    @chrisschwartze, thank you for reaching out. To address your initial question, is this the behavior you’re seeing for virtual/downloadable products only? Or are you also seeing it with transactions for physical products? If it’s downloadable products, you’re correct; there is an open issue for those in GitHub which should be addressed in a future release. If it’s for physical products as well, let me know and we can try to troubleshoot further.

    With the currency question, that would be better suited for MailChimp’s support group to speak to. They are closer to fixing UI/UX related issues than we are here with the plugin team. You can reach out to them anytime by going here.
