• I have a client who accidentally deleted his old site before we were through with migrating it. Luckily I had exported it with this plugin as he had it installed on the. Unluckily I now can’t import it without paying for their pro extension. I don’t recall ever being warned that would be an issue. So now I have a useless backup that I can’t open with no way to restore the site for the client. Thanks.

I am sorry for your terrible experience.

Try changing your client’s hosting provider that will allow you to restore your larger backup.

Your client deleting their website and we getting the blame is not very fair ??

@webpropopuli, That was uncalled for and I’ve archived your reply.

@yaniiliev maybe it’s not fair, but it should be more clear that a backed up website may not be restorable with your plugin out-of-the box without paying for the premium extension. Fortunately I was able to find a workaround. Judging by other reviews I’m not the only one who feels this way. Perhaps you should add a warning during backing up and make that more clear.

it says clearly Maximum upload file size:512 MB over that size you will need to pay ??

It doesn’t say that until you go to upload the site again. I didn’t install the plugin so I wouldn’t have seen it there. If it is in the dashboard somewhere it isn’t obvious and probably should be. Fortunately there was a workaround so all was not lost.

    hi Sarah,
I have exactly the same problem. Would you mind pointing me in the direction of the workaround?
