• not sure if i’m doing something wrong in the setup page or what, but i get this message when scanning the Qcode or manually pasting the end point URL (https://riversidecityfc.com/paypal-here):

    “Not Found
The requested URL /paypal-here was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

do i need to setup an endpoint page in wordpress?

  • Have you enabled the plugin in the payment options of woocommerce? The end point of the app is normally set by default as paypal-here so it should work without having to do anything else. If you could take a screen grab of your paypal here settings then I may be able to help a little further.

Also – it looks as though you may not have permalinks to custom posts set. That may be the cause of the problem.

i updated the permalink settings and it helped a little as i can now get to the paypal here dashboard page for my store. but then when i click on “create new order” i get the following:

“Error: Sorry, you cannot list resources. [woocommerce_rest_cannot_view]”

From a search on google it may be issues with ssl (do you have one installed on the site?) or could be issues with other plugins interfering.

yes i have an SSL installed. I can call my hosting service to adjust the permissions if needed. what would i need to ask them to do in order for this to work?

@rlennox, You have an extra directory in your path setting for the app as seen in your screenshot of the settings page. As such, your PayPal Here web app is loading here: https://riversidecityfc.com/fan-store/paypal-here

So as I say that, I realize the problem is that your QR code is not reading the entire endpoint path correctly, or maybe the QR code needs to be regenerated after you adjusted the endpoint..??

There is no issue in loading the endpoint URL (https://riversidecityfc.com/fan-store/paypal-here) manually in a browser, or using the QRcode with mobile device. the issue occurs when clicking on “create new order” from the dashboard screen. the button link is “https://riversidecityfc.com/fan-store/paypal-here?actions=view_products&is_create_new_order=true”. when clicking it i get the following message:

“Error: Sorry, you cannot list resources. [woocommerce_rest_cannot_view]”

Is there a conflict with SSL cert as mentioned by chucklebum0205?

FYI…i also tried removing the extra directory from the endpoint path….still get the same result:

Error: Sorry, you cannot list resources. [woocommerce_rest_cannot_view]

@rlennox, I am sorry for delay in response, we are looking into it and will get back to you soon.
    Thanks!

This all points to some form of authentication with the rest api – just check what permissions the key’s you’ve generated have (need to be read and write) and what user has those permissions. (try an admin). I’d also try regenerating the keys to see if that helps.

Also – Oliver/Angelleye – might want to consider that the end point isn’t accessible without a login as anyone could create/view orders in the outside world otherwise.

Yes, the keys have read and write permissions with admin user

Yeah, this definitely seems like an auth issue of some sort. Have you made any adjustments to the salt settings in wp-config recently, or moved the site to a different location or anything like that? Have you tried removing and re-creating the REST API credentials the plugin is using?

    (@angelleye)

@rlennox, Have you tried removing and re-creating the PayPal Here keys for the Woo REST API? If you just delete the key, then you go back into PayPal Here settings and click the button to re-create it and see if that works.

If not, please submit a ticket here so we can work with you more directly on this.
