set shipping per product

Is it possible to set shipping method for each product individually?

You would need an extension or plugin for this. From WooCommerce.com I can recommend the premium Per Product Shipping extension which I feel is what you are looking for.

I did see Per Product Shipping plugin in my searches.
however im just starting my shop and would like to minimize my expenses.
any free plugin that you know of?

It’s always a trade-off – does the cost of the plugin justify either the time you save, or help increase your sales?

I don’t know of a free plugin that can do what you’re looking for, but you can certainly set this up manually. You’d need to set up a shipping class for each individual product on your site:

buy the way, In the “Per product shipping” plugin page it says:
Per product shipping allows you to define different shipping costs for products, based on customer location.

so if I understand correctly, it just add an option to add shipping rate based on the customer location?
what if I sell only to one location. but I need to add the ePacket shipping method only to products that the aliexpress supplier offers.
if a supplier doesnt offer epacket, I dont want to display the ePacket option in the product checkout page.
will this be doable with “Per product shipping” plugin?

I did try your idea. I set up a shipping class for each individual product (3 products for testing)
but still, when I add a product without a shipping class to the cart, I still see the epacket method, but without its fee.
so this didnt help ??

You can choose to allow shipping methods based on the location, or based on the product that you set. You’d be able to set that product x, which is sold by Aliexpress, is only shipping using method y.

Right – as you’d need a shipping class for every single product to ensure that only certain products see certain shipping methods.
