Sniplets Plugin – Adding text after post

  • I’m working on a theme that requires the user to be able to add a line of text after the post content. For instance, on the index page I’m only showing article excerpts, with a “Read More” link. After that I’d like to post a line of text that will be a link to where the article originally came from. Originally I thought I’d need to write a custom plugin, but I came across the Sniplets plugin and I think it might work. Problem is, after looking over the documentation and trying some things, I can’t get it to work.

    In case you need a visual, this is basically what I’m trying to achieve:
