WordPress Hacked (using 2.7.1)

  • Hello there,

    I was just wondering, if anyone has had their WordPress hacked lately? I run several websites using WP’s latest stable script, and all websites got hacked this week.

    The hacker edited all “index.php” and “config.php” files by adding some bizarre coding at the top.

    Anyone else with this kind of trouble?

    Please ask your hosting provider to provide logs from which IP that hacked and add that IP range to block IP address for your domain…

    Always use strong passwords for your account…and wordpress is open source so always use any plugins which are stable and compatible with wordpress…Do not use any third party plugin/code/template which may cause the issue..
