Is Ninja Forms compatible with the new user data management tools added with WordPress 4.9.6? That is, if a user retrieves their data with that tool, will it reflect their form submissions?

This is releasing later today. Please note that this will ONLY work if the user completed the form while logged in…otherwise we have no way to map a submission to a particular user.

For users who are not logged in, you get a very unpleasant error message in WordPress own data management tools:

Erwartet wurde ein Array als Antwort der Funktion zum Datenexport: Ninja Forms Submission Data.

Sorry this is german and means: there is an error because there should be an array as reply to the export function: ninja forms submission data.

This error message occurs on personal data export table view > col “send email”

    Eek!

If the form submission is stored in the database and has an email address, shouldn’t it be possible to pull that data with the tool?

(My site doesn’t have user logins except for me as the administrator.)

Not yet but this is functionality that will be in the next release. For now any logged-in users will get their data in the export or delete request. There needs to be a few additional steps to get it working with any form submission email is there could be multiple emails per submission, etc.

Thank you very much for pointing this out to us. We’ve released a new version of Ninja Forms (3.3.1), which should resolve the issue for any future submissions.

Unfortunately, pre-existing records created via the new action cannot be repaired. They will need to be resubmitted to get proper data into the data export tool.

@krmoorhouse thx – everything is working correct now ??
