    Hi,
I test the plugin by sending data through the form.
Everything works well if I’m logged in to my cockpit (wordpress)
The request page does not work when I log out of wordpress and test.
A 404 error then pops up.
    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I’m not associated with the plugin. I came here to see if someone was having my problem, actually.

But in response to your problem, just thinking about how this should work, a user would have to be logged in to see their data. If it could be viewed while you were logged out, then anyone with the link could view it, and that doesn’t seem like a good thing. So if you’re logged out or logged in as a different user, it makes sense that you’d get a 404. (Although an Admin may have privileges to see it all?)

I’m glad you posted that, because I think I’ll update my 404 page to say “If you’re trying to review your data and landed on this page, please login here and click the link again.”

We do not understand each other. No user is able to log in, the site has a contact form, where anyone can ask a question by name, surname and email. According to the RODO giving this data has the right to delete them and here the problem occurs, because clicking on the link requesting access to data has a 404 error

I see what you’re saying, and understand.

If the data – question, name, surname, and email – aren’t stored ON YOUR WEBSITE, then there are no actions the plugin can take. If a form is completed by me as a user, and all fields are NOT saved on/by your website, then it would have to be deleted/anonymized from the place where it’s stored. That might be your email client or webmail. Yes?

If the data IS somehow stored on your website without a user registering, then that’s a conundrum, I agree.

@marekmaz; The created page is set at ‘Private’. This is so you can make additional changes before publishing it. Just set it to ‘Public’ so everyone can access it.

    Hi,
    I solved the problem
The new version of wordpress allows you to export data, delete
In Contact Form 7, I placed the “consent” field and the text with the html link
Everything works well without any changes
    Thanks
