woocommerce privacy

is it not possible to make the woocommerce shop page private? it works on all other pages then the default shop page. I can even make the widget on the sidebar private, but nothing happens when i do it on the shop page. If i direct the shop page to another page in woocommerce setting, then it is no problem to make the page in question private. But the main shop page woun’t work. please help me to fix this problem.
