• Hi,

I have ultimate member running in conjunction with bbpress.

I have registered a user as a ‘participant’ in the forum and as a ‘member’ of UM.

In their profile page however, they have the option at the bottom of the profile page to change their UM member status from ‘Member’ to ‘Admin.’

Naturally I don’t want users changing their role – is there a way to prevent this from happening, I’ve checked all the support docs and can’t see anything that covers this.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @defthaus,

Are you referring to the Membership filed(dropdown/radio)?
Have you added the filed to your profile form?
Can you please attach the screenshot if possible?

    Regards.

    Hi @ultimatemembersupport

    Screenshot viewable here… https://ibb.co/cUN0Fy

If a user goes to edit their profile, this appears at the bottom of the page. It allows them to change their Ultimate Member role from ‘Member’ to ‘Admin’ and also to ‘generate API key’ for ‘Ultimate Member Rest API’

I would like to stop this information from being visible so users don’t have the option to change these details.

    Thanks.

    Hi @ultimatemembersupport

Have you had chance to look at the screenshot?

Any ideas on how I can remedy this please?

    Thanks.
