My scans won’t run. I am getting the following red error in the scan logs:

    [May 29 14:10:37:1527567037.495599:1:error] <br /> <b>Notice</b>: Undefined index: server in <b>/home/worldfit/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/models/scanner/wfScanner.php</b> on line <b>623</b><br /> <br /> <b>Notice</b>: Undefined index: started in <b>/home/worldfit/public_html/wp-cont

[May 29 14:10:37:1527567037.457187:2:error] Scan can't continue - stored data not found after a fork. Got type: boolean

Earlier on in the scan log it has a heap of errors for different lines in that file too:
    [May 29 14:09:54:1527566994.238020:1:error] Undefined index: changes (8) File: /home/worldfit/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/models/scanner/wfScanner.php Line: 644

    How do I fix it?

    Thanks,

    Alice

  • Same problem – and on a ‘vanilla’ site install with default WordFence settings. Weird.

    Hi Alice,

Please go to (Wordfence > Tools => Diagnostics) and click on “Send Report by Email” button at the top of the page, you can send the report to “alaa [at] wordfence [dot] com”, make sure to include your forum username, I will take a look at this report and let you know my findings. And if you have access to your server error log within the same time that you encountered this unsuccessful scan trial, please send it to the same email address as well.

    Thanks.

    Hi @wfalaa

I have send through the diagnostics and the error logs.

    Thanks!

    Hi Alice,

I’ve checked the reports and it seems that you are experiencing the same issue reported here which we are still investigating. Meanwhile you may try the solution mentioned in the linked thread as it seems to work as a treat for other users.

Let me know how it goes,
    Thanks.

    Thanks @wfalaa

I have updated those settings that were suggested in the other thread and the scans are running now.
