changing slug to user id

    we are trying to change author slug to user id insted of user name. When we select the user id from the slug dropdown it shows experimental. Please confirm if you can use this feature to update author slug to use user id.
    I hope changing user slug to user id would not effect the functionality of the website in any ways.

    It’s marked as experimental, because I wasn’t sure if it would cause problems. People were asking for it, so I flagged it as experimental. Kind of a “use at your own risk” kind of thing. In theory, there shouldn’t be any problems.

    It’s been available for a while, and no one has complained. I’ll probably remove the flag in 1.7.0.
