Hi, i use wordfence on over 100 sites and as i log into each one i am accepting the new terms, but i only log in when i need to, so if i don’t log into another site for say 6 months, will wordfence continue to work as normal although i haven’t logged in yet to click accept?

    Thanks… ??

  • @stephenturner,

My understanding is that the terms need to be accepted for the Wordfence plugin to continue working as expected. I only have one site so I can’t confirm that, I just thought that I read it somewhere in the documentation.

If you have the time I would probably suggest logging in to let’s say maybe 10-20 of those sites a day to make sure the plugin stays active and protects your site. Do this for a few days in a row and you won’t have to worry about your sites.

The sites will continue to function as configured even without the terms/privacy being reviewed and accepted. The next time you log in, you will be able to review and accept the terms.

Now that I think about it, that makes more sense @kboyte. The goal of a security plugin is to protect a site. Turning off the site protection and leaving it unsecured until the user logs into the site is definitely not in the best interest of the site or site owner(s).
