White column background between products and actual background

  • Right now my website looks a bit unprofessional. I tried to add a white column behind products, images, banners and the menu on the top but in front of the blue background

    Kinda like that, so the inital background is still peeking out of the sides, but the middle is a solid color.

    I’m trying to add a large white column between the products and the background so the sides show the current blue background, but the center with products and banners is on top of the white column. I’m not sure how to go about that.
