Hi, I want to keep my website’s privacy policy compliant with GDPR (the new EU privacy law), and your plugin is one that I use on my website. In order for me to accurately write my privacy policy, would you please answer the following?

    1. Does your plugin collect personally identifiable information (that includes IP addresses)?

    2. If so, what types of personally identifiable information does your plugin collect?

    3. For what purpose(s) does your plugin collect personally identifiable information?

    4. Does your plugin have a privacy policy that explains how you use my website visitors’ personally identifiable information?

    5. Do your plugin use cookies or any other types of information?

    Thanks!

  • Dear @clocksaysnow,

Our plugin has been recently updated to satisfy GDPR compliance rules. ??

    1. Our plugin doesn’t collect IP addresses of our users.

    2. The only personal data collected by our plugin are email addresses , names and other info included in the Subscription and Contact form popup types.
We do not collect any personal data with our other popup types.

    3. In the Subscription and Contact form types, we have included GDPR checkboxes so you can inform your users about collecting their data.

    4. This is a digital product (plugin) not a service, so all the data is stored on your side, we don’t collect any data on our side.

    5. Our plugin uses cookies following WordPress standards.

Feel free if you have more concerns, we’ll be happy to be helpful! ??
