    Hello,

    We’ve used Popup Maker for quite some time but now are unable to use it. It might be conflicting with another plugin. When I updated our other plugins today, it crashed our site. We checked the logs and pinpointed that Popup Maker was causing the issue.

    I deleted it and tried re-installing the latest version but get the following error: Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to Freemius::get_api_user_scope_by_user() must be an instance of FS_User, boolean given, called in /www/wp-content/plugins/popup-maker/includes/pum-sdk/freemius/includes/class-freemius.php on line 18424 and defined in /www/wp-content/plugins/popup-maker/includes/pum-sdk/freemius/includes/class-freemius.php on line 18438

    We are using the latest version of WordPress. We are using a multi-site setup. And our host is Flywheel.

    Please let me know if you need any further information. I hope we can work this out as I used your plugin often!

    Thanks!

    @loganvenderlic – I’m letting the author of Freemius know so they can give us some feeback on the matter. Hopefully a quick fix.

    In the mean time if you edit the main plugin file and comment out the PUM_Freemius::init(); line it should hopefully go away in the mean time.

    Hope that helps.

    @loganvenderlic apologies for the inconvenience.

    1. Please install our troubleshooting plugin:
    https://github.com/Freemius/freemius-fixer/
    2. Download the data dump and send it to [support AT freemius DOT com].
    3. After you have the dump you can clean up the local data of the SDK and it should fix the issue.

    Once we have the dump we can investigate the situation. Thanks!

    Thank you guys so much for your quick response and help! I did what you asked and it worked! I’m going to send that data dump to Freemius support.

    Thanks!
