    Great plugin – thank you!

I was wondering how close you are to supporting shortcodes, custom fields or php in the WCE message editor? Or whether you can advise on how I could achieve this?

I have created a simple shortcode which calculates the current date plus X amount of days. I’d love to be able to use this within the plugin

    For example:

“Thanks for your purchase, your warranty is valid until [THISDATE].”

I will look into adding this functionality and will follow up when I know more.

    Hi @joereadpk,

I have been trying to think of how this functionality would work, but I’m a bit stuck…

There are a lot of shortcodes which rely on the WordPress core header files just to be able to work. If I enable shortcode content inside the Custom Email Messages, there is a good chance the output will not work as expected for users.

I will need to take more time to consider how this feature would work and be secure enough to not cause further issues/conflicts.

I’ll mark this Support thread as ‘resolved’ for now but will consider adding this functionality in a future plugin release.
