Captions for posts on front page

  • Hello,

    I am looking for answers to the below questions, would be of great help to improve my blog.
    1. Is there a way to turn on captions (or show an excerpt) of recent posts on the front page?
    2. How can I get the heading “recent posts” to show up on front page? Similarly, the title for Instagram widget is not showing up. I understand that is how the theme is designed, any way it could be changed?

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    Unfortunately the only way to add Recent Posts title and excerpt to blog feed post is by theme customization.

    You can quite easily display the title of Instagram widget. Please go to Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS and add this css:

    .widget-area-frontpage-1 .null-instagram-feed .widget-title, .widget-area-frontpage-2 .null-instagram-feed .widget-title {
    display: block;
}
