hestia_big_title_title is missing

    Yesterday I build my website in HESTIA. Today i moved tot SSL.
    Google says “Not secure because of 1 picture”. It was the picture in the big_title. I tried to change the picture again, but i cannot change it since then.

    When I press on the change icon nothing happened. Also the link to “Big Title Section” is missing.

    Anyone a idea?

    – I rolled back the SSL activation fully
    – I deleted the theme already (therefore now te standard text is back)
    – I activated other theme and changed back
    – I searched in DB

    I’ve managed to change back the image by FTP. But how to get the text correct without having the correct menu?

  • Same problem with my site too. I don’t think your SSL activation is what caused it @tomklerks.
    I’ve lost the ability to edit my Big Title Section too. Something’s up and I think it’s less time wasted on troubleshooting to build a custom front page than struggle with these. Rolling back to the previous version on Hestia and Orbit Fox doesn’t seem to fix it either.

    I’m having the same problem: the big title section was present in the Customizer yesterday, and today it is missing. It parses on the displayed website, but is no longer visible in the Customizer.

    I’ve installed the child theme per a more recent thread, and also examined the functions.php file to make sure it was referring to the lite version of Hestia.

    I also made sure that the extension was enabled in Orbit Fox.

    I’ve also activated a different theme and then went back to Hestia but still the big title section is missing.

    EDIT: Then I reset file permissions and suddenly the big title section is back. Will monitor.

    This is one of the weirdest thing. I think it appears only after you go to Appearance -> Widgets, and then use “Manage with Live Preview”. It seems like Big Title Section is not rendered together with the other sections.

    I tried what Kelvin suggested and the widget “Manage with Live Preview” doesn’t exist.

    I just installed the theme and don’t see Big Title in Frontpage Sections.
