Same ole SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server: php_network_getaddresses: geta

  • Hello there,

    I have the problem to, since I moved my site to a different host.

    I have no idea what to do.

    Tried making sure Commodo SSL and not the open encrypt one is installed. Added a line to php.ini … my password has no % in it. DKIM + SPF all good.

    Does anyone know what to do?

    Was the plugin working in your other host? If it was, what is the difference between the server settings in both host?

    Which SMTP server are you using? For example are you using something global like Gmail or your hosting provider server?

    A fail to connect to server error probably means your SMTP host or port are configured incorrectly.
