    Hi,

I just installed Custom Sidebars 3.1.6 (last version) and it’s currently not working for me.

    I have:
    – WordPress 4.9.6 (last version)
    – OceanWP 1.5.16 (last version) + child theme

When I try to save any pop-up, like by clicking on the [Create sidebar] button, the pop-up fades and the animated GIF turns forever. Nothing more happens, the pop-up is never closing and I can’t move on.

It’s the exact same behavior for all Custom Sidebars pop-ups, whatever theme activated (same for Twenty Fifteem) and either on Firefox 60.0.1 or on Chrome 66.0.3359.181 (all 64bits).

    Any idea?
    Thanks!

  • Hey @ftpwp,

    Hope you’re well.

I can’t replicate this issue on my test site. And looks like you already tried to changing theme, but not helps. Can you also try plugin conflict test? You need to deactivate all plugins and try only with Custom Sidebars. If it solves the problem, you need to activate plugins one by one until replicate the issue. So we can learn which plugin cause conflict.

    Cheers,

    Done.

It’s a conflict with the Ocean Extra plugin of the OceanWP theme…
    https://oceanwp.org/extension/ocean-extra/

All are free if you can test: theme & plugin.

    Thanks!

    Hey @ftpwp,

    Hope you’re well.

Yes, I can replicate the problem with the Ocean Extra plugin on my test site. But I am afraid that’s not something related Custom Sidebars plugin. Their javascript codes do not have the proper scope, so it affects more than necessary. You should contact them to fix the javascript codes.

    Cheers,
    Oguz
