In your instructions relating to the Search_Listing shortcode, you imply that I shouldn’t use that shortcode on any other pages, other than the home or landing page.

Are you saying it CAN NOT be used on multiple pages? I have added it to other pages as an extended support for visitors who want to begin a new search and may not understand they have to go back to the homepage.

Since Directorist does not have a Breadcrumb system I believe by reposting the Search_Listing feature on the top of both directory listings and single listings it eliminates all confusion if a visitor wants to start a new search, would you agree?

Sorry for the long message, but I want to be clear that I have started using the search in that manner and want to be sure it will not cause problems for me online.

Thanks as always for a great plugin.

  • You are most welcome.

And NO, we did not mean that you can not use the search_listing shortcode more than once. You can use that shortcode on any page you want and on as many pages as you want. It should work fine.

    We hope it helps.

    Thanks.
