• Hi,

    I am using the shortcodes, “rectify” “complaint” and “export-data” work well and send the requests, but [gdpr_request_form type = “delete”] don′t send any request.

    What could be the problem?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @spitovich,

    Are you using any plugins that might alter the sending of emails from WordPress? For example, any SMTP plugins?

    If he get emails for the other requests it’s not a SMTP problem.

    @spitovich
    Recently we changed the error messages for the requests to not disclose if a user is a member of the site or not. That’s a boost in privacy.
    The message is a generic “if a user was found, an email is sent”.

    If you are not getting an email it can be for a couple reasons:

    1. The security token is failing. (unlikely since the others work).
    2. The email does not belong to any registered user.
    3. The email is for an admin user and that is the only admin. We can’t delete the last admin.

    @amooreto @fclaussen thanks for the support

    The email belongs to a registered user (the same one who receives the other requests) and is not an administrator.

    I’m going to try it on other websites to see if it works.

    Regards
