Converting a permalink

How many URLs you have like this? If you have some URLs like 20 – 50 so, i recommend you to install the plugin, make configuration from the settings page and regenerate the Permalinks for these Pages.

In this case, you need to edit all these pages and just click the “Regenerate” button available there.

I really appreciate your advice, should I do these with your plugin or wordpress, either way I am not entirely sure what i should do to change those permalink URL so that I do not have an underscore any longer

Install the plugin and define the Permalinks Settings same as you have defined in the WordPress Permalinks Settings Section. but the difference is that overhere you can define the different permalink structure for different post types and taxonomies. Like: Post, Page, Category, Portfolio and so on.

Once you installed the plugin you can find the Settings page on the Admin Dashboard. You can also check screenshots here to find how it looks like:

I think your plugin is working as expected, I think my issue is something else. Unless I am mistaken.

Taxonomies Permalinks Settings I have added (portfolio/%title%) to portfolio_category box
However, it is that top-level permalink that I want to alter, so I have added on PostTypes Permalinks Settings the following to the Portfolio box (portfolio-category/%category%)

I am sure I am missing something and I really appreciate your help.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
