Unable to set contact form 7 file as post attachment.

    Hi,

    I am unable to set post attachment from contact form 7, I am using Advanced custom fields to create custom meta fields and Post My CF7 to save fields to post, All the fields except file field are working.

    Please help with this, Thanks!

    Did you check if your meta field is populated correctly in the database? The plugin by default saves the url to The file location in the WP uploads folder. ACF plugin may not recognise the value of the field and therefore does not display the value.

    Either let this plugin create your cpt for you, it is coded using WP core stds.
    Others have complained of issues with ACF and i have a feeling its code isn’t following wp stds. I recommend this approach.

    Else you need to map your file field to a filter and add custom custom code to save your uploaded file request and populate the field with the value expected by ACF
