    WordFence is reporting a large number of files out of sync with the repository. This is not unusual if a scan is running when Jetpack is updating itself, but I’ve run the scan a couple of times now with no updates in progress and it’s still showing files out of sync.

    Thanks for reporting this. Have you reported this to the Wordfence folks as well, to see if they know how to fix it by any chance?

    The site is https://oakhillstudios.com. I just ran another scan before this reply with the same results. And I just opened a ticket with WordFence.

    More of my sites are starting to report the same issue. Up to 6 now.

    Me, too. But- Wordfence ‘differences’ also reports –
    “There are no differences between the original file and the file in the repository.”

    Have you also reached out to Wordfence already?

    I did not reach out to Wordfence, but re-ran the Wordfence scan and these issues did not appear. I assume ‘they’ got things straightened out.

    I just rescanned 2 of my sites that were out of sync and they are coming up clear now. WordFence support said it was probably a file tagging issue in the repository but that’s not the official word. That was just their initial guess before contacting the Jetpack team.
