Compatibility with Stackpath

Hey Joe; AO should work with all pull-type CDN’s and does not work with push-type CDN’s, but I don’t know what type Stackpath is. Also, to be clear; AO only rewrites the URL’s for the autoptimized resources, so e.g. images are left as is.

Cool, so will AO eventually work with push-type CDNs? Yes, just found out Stackpath/MaxCDN is push-type.

Ah, maxCDN = stackpath, didn’t (actively) know that ??

I remember having used MaxCDN myself a couple of years ago and they did offer both pull- and push-type CDN, so if you switch to pull it will work.

Support for push-CDN is a rather complex integration which requires development for each CDN-provider separately, so although interesting this is not high on my list of things to add to be honest.

an incorrect value for the AO CDN URL probably. can you share what you used?

Well that can’t be though, because it was pulling from the cdn when using autoptimize, but it just wasn’t caching all the cdn files. However, when reverting back to Wp rewrite CDN, it works fine. So it couldn’t have been an incorrect cname…

well, enable AO’s for a second and then do a test with webpagetest.org and provide me the resulting result URL, that way I have something to review ??
