Removing google fonts due to GDPR

    Greetings, the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requires our site to remove google fonts from the theme (several other sites already have warning notices). I found a workaround using the Autooptimize plugin, but it doesn’t seem to work 100%. So my question: Is there a way to remove it completely from the theme?

  • Hello Philipp,

    As long you do not select any google fonts on your site in the theme options, they will not load.

    So you don’t need to worry about removing them.
