I backup my WP-installation to a S3-bucket in Germany. After downloading the archive-file to my desktop I tried to unzip it. But I always get an errormessage that the file cannot be unzipped, as it is damaged. I tried al kinds of archives. It is always the same.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I found all that the backup-files of all my WP installations are corrupted. No way to unzip them. This really bad!!! luckily nothing happend to my sites, but if so… uah! I now changed to duplicator (which is a great tool for moving a side) and UpdraftPlus. I tested both and the zip-files are working well.
    Sorry for WPBackup!

    Sorry to hear that ??
Could you please use Winrar to open the archive file? Is that works?

This topic seems to be double. Under reviews I have the same topic. Here what I answered there:

“I tried stuffit Deluxe. I get the same errormessage “file is damaged” or stuffit engine error -43

    my php version is 7.1”
